Guys are for Spring

I’m finally doing my next piece on menswear. (Phew). Short ‘n’ sweet, Ive picked an array of blues. Let me tell you contrasting shades of the same color is always a winner. Fling a little black in there for good measure (I’m easing myself gently in to spring!)

Et, voila…

And so the story continues with a sprig of coral or rust or whatever you like to call it. I’m seeing a lot of that right now for Spring/Summer season. I felt like being a little playful with the touch of leopard print. It’s probably the last of these furs for the year. One can just about get away with it for February.

Below is my ‘Coolah Caley’ look which belongs to Shoreditch. Those of you who have been will understand.

Burgundy Bliss

A retro student look.

I came across this collage on polyvore just now and i thought it was just the prettiest selection of fashion mix and cute ladylike essentials.
Burgundy; THE current color en vogue for autumn. I love it. Its a transitional color, perfect for this time of year (as i type with my ox blood colored fingernails!)
I think its a stereotyped London student’s look. In a romantic sense of the word. Or the Oxfordshire PhD scholar as she unties her bike to the old ancient black railings of the studen union house: Loafers, leather satchel, flec framed spectacles and the list goes on.
Can you root out your burgundy business?

Express Dressing

I realised my June deadline was just about up tonight, and, as I aim to complete 4 monthly blogs I realised I was only on 3. Without further ado I jumped on my Polyvore app and made a run for it. Hence the title name, ‘Express Yourself”. Take the quickest peek at what I have come up with as a result. I started with the red pressed bermuda shorts, matched it with a striped off-the-shoulder (which of course is all the rage right now) and teamed with a classic black open toe stiletto sandal with ankle strap and the cutest patent tote.
