Amongst this mess of a political world we seem to find ourselves caught up in this past year, what a nice refreshing statement to hear. Colours, pussy cat hats and more colorus for Milan We likey!

Salvatore Ferragamo

Beautifully, sleek cut, long, dove- grey silhouettes were presented to us from Fulvio Rigoni for Salvatore Ferragamo. This coat dress (above) did the trick for me.

A beautiful mix between American Military-style dress and Russian mufti, civilian attire. Makes it somewhat apt for this miserable, February weather that has decided to engulf Ireland this week.

Stella Jean.

Sportmax launched from the Max mothership a groovy, cool, contemporary  selection of pieces with the strong ‘Run’ theme throughout (a somewhat appeared hidden meaning). This outfit below I think is a real stunner.

Here is just a small few samples from my favourites of Milan Fashion Week last week. I feel it was sinful to rush through this blog tonight but I felt under pressure as wow, how quickly February crept up on me. Apologies if you were just getting in to this, but it shall be followed by a review of more of my picks from the wonderful world of Milan.

Thank you for reading!

Guys are for Spring

I’m finally doing my next piece on menswear. (Phew). Short ‘n’ sweet, Ive picked an array of blues. Let me tell you contrasting shades of the same color is always a winner. Fling a little black in there for good measure (I’m easing myself gently in to spring!)

Et, voila…

And so the story continues with a sprig of coral or rust or whatever you like to call it. I’m seeing a lot of that right now for Spring/Summer season. I felt like being a little playful with the touch of leopard print. It’s probably the last of these furs for the year. One can just about get away with it for February.

Below is my ‘Coolah Caley’ look which belongs to Shoreditch. Those of you who have been will understand.

Oh and lads if you are reading this go easy on me. It’s not the easiest to write on your behalf but I’ll be damned if I don’t try!

A-Line + The Slipper

Powerful inspiration this week from the new February edition of Ireland’s very own February edition of Social and Personal . Established in 1934 for a damn reason… These fashion editors have the best ideas!
I put together a few of my picks  from the range of A-line skirts out there. Pair with a cute slipper or dare I say moccasin for a perfect silhouette.
A Line + The Slipper

Take some more inspiration from the wonderful new line from Mariella Burani. This is a beautiful rose pink A line pleat with a striped turtleneck. Stripes are the way to go this spring (see previous 2 blogs). I just think these slippers are one in a million. Do you think they come on sale yet?!
