I am down in West Cork on annual leave. We decided to pack the car full of goodies and cosy walking gear and hit the road. It being December 12th and with a rapid blog deadline approaching with bells on, I looked to dear old Polyvore for some nice insipration.

So what is my blog about this week? Well, you know its the time of year for running about buying gifts for our nearest and dearest. It’s also about running to the grocery store to pick up chocolates, afternoon tea tins and Bailey’s by the bucket load. It’s is also highly likely that you will run in to someone you know; be it a neighbour, a friend, and ex (eek!) or a work colleague. You want to be ready-set-go and be looking delightful for them, right?!

‘So what clues have you got for us this week Fiona?’ , I hear the cries…. Go reds, greens, whites and for god sake, a smile on the face. No matter how stressed you are (yes I know that shopping list is a long one) but I’m telling you that if you do it with a festive cheer, all will become clear.

Get those funky colorful, over-the-top shoes you feel are a bit gaudy to wear the other months of the year and pair with a pretty dress. Oh, grab that fussy, non functional clutch so it looks pretty on your wrist. It will at least hide the unsightly grocery plastics and blood-stained translucent butcher bags!
