Streetwear

London, a city vibrant on the street and below. Traveling home from Wimbeldon to Kensington, my colleague (forever stylish) agreed to let me photograph him on the tube and tag his gear. I took this opportunity to list what he is wearing in the photo below and I created a collage of his ‘look for less’ seeing as Rohan has an expensive eye!

Above: Rohan wears brown hat by Scala Classico, bag by Ted Baker, overcoat by NA, jeans by Zara, t-shirt (All Saints) and trainers (Nike Huarache).

This outfit I simply love. It has a lot of safe neutrals but then just as you think you have it sussed, out comes a flash of color. The shade of red is eyecatching without being gaudy. The jeans comfortable and everyday? Wrong! Try wade through the streets of London and survive a day stain-free. Sporting the goods is one thing but being able to juggle their practicality is an art in itself and this is something Rohan has clearly mastered.

Dare I mention the sparkling white trainers?!

So, I have condensed this ‘street style’ look and pinned down the look for less. These are pretty much all high street stores and they will save you a quid or two. Dont be afraid to purchase online especially if its a store you know and whose size fits.

Green, Leafy Days

I decided to dedicate this blog to my very recent return to green leafy Ireland after a long stint away in North America. It’s not until you return to her proud island do you realise Éire is so lush with growth. I am proud to say I’m Irish and so because of that, I dug deep in my Polyvore virtual wardrobe (and imagination, of course) and spat this one out.

Green, Leafy Days

I have seen a lot of this leaf print very recently, both along my work travels and at home. ‘What an odd look’, I first thought to myself. I was recently on Instagram and saw one very trendy english celebrity post a snap of her new armchairs- newly upholstered in green leaves, no less. My room mate even has a new blanket throw in this beloved print. I cannot get enough! Happy reading.

Express Dressing

I realised my June deadline was just about up tonight, and, as I aim to complete 4 monthly blogs I realised I was only on 3. Without further ado I jumped on my Polyvore app and made a run for it. Hence the title name, ‘Express Yourself”. Take the quickest peek at what I have come up with as a result. I started with the red pressed bermuda shorts, matched it with a striped off-the-shoulder (which of course is all the rage right now) and teamed with a classic black open toe stiletto sandal with ankle strap and the cutest patent tote.
