The only thing that takes us through the Monday work blues is knowing the fact that Thursday evening is just around the corner, right? Well here I’ve put together a template of some basics but how you can dress up your work outfit for the perfect happy hour in a dainty library bar in central London, or for dinner with some friends. Here are my picks:

Pants: Wide Leg ‘Tasia’ Trousers by Erdem: $860. These are elevated above the classic culotte by the use of an intricate jacquard. Shades: Saint Laurent Classic 57 Sunglasses by YSL: $395. YSL.COM. Hey, I’m expecting sunny spring evenings leaving the office.

Earrings: Cara Oval Button Stud Earrings from Lord & Taylor: $25. Faceted button studs turn heads in soft a shimmer where purple meets blue. Subtle enough for early evening wear, these will make any outfit look elegant.

Coat: Runway Vladimir Coat by BCBGMAXAZRIA: $1,799. Wines, camels and cream tones. This will look so smart over a trouser suit , dresses or jeans. I’m all about coats.
